Normal shutdown is the planned shutdown of the furnace due to load reduction, maintenance and other reasons, which is called normal shutdown.
Method: Follow the operating procedures
① Reduce the load gradually.
② Stop supplying fuel to the furnace.
③ Stop the induced draft fan.
④ After stopping the steam supply, close the isolation valve connected to the main pipe.
⑤ When the temperature of the boiler water drops below 70℃, the boiler water can be discharged.
Steam boiler shutdown due to accident
Stop the furnace immediately when one of the unlisted situations is encountered during operation:
①The boiler water level is lower than the visible edge of the lower part of the water level gauge.
②Continuously increase water supply and adopt other measures, but the water level continues to drop.
③The water level exceeds the highest visible water level, and the water level is still not visible after the water is released.
④All feedwater pumps fail or the feedwater system is faulty, and no water can enter.
⑤All water level gauges or safety valves are out of order.
⑥Boiler element damage endangers the safety of operating personnel.
⑦The burning equipment is damaged, the furnace wall collapses or the frame is burned red, etc., which seriously threaten the safe operation of the boiler.
⑧ Other abnormal conditions endanger the safe operation of the boiler.
Operation steps for emergency shutdown of steam boiler
①Stop coal and air supply immediately to reduce induced air (or stop).
②Unload the remaining coal in the furnace at the fastest speed.
③ Completely isolate the boiler from the main pipe, open the air valve, safety valve and trap to quickly discharge steam and reduce pressure.
④Open the furnace door and the ash door to promote air dredging and speed up cooling.
⑤ For water shortage accidents, it is strictly forbidden to enter the pot water, and it is not allowed to open the valve to exhaust steam and reduce the pressure to prevent the accident from expanding.
⑥ If the boiler is shut down due to a full water accident, the water supply should be stopped immediately, the flue baffle should be closed, the combustion should be reduced, the drain valve should be opened to drain the water, and the water level should be appropriately lowered. At the same time, open the main steam pipe sub-cylinder and the trap valve on the main pipe. Prevent a large amount of steam from carrying water and water shock in the pipeline.
